Andrew Gilliland is a New York based multi-hyphenate artist and founder. He is a recent graduate of Abilene Christian University’s BFA Acting Program and is continuing classes at the William Esper Studio in Manhattan. He is passionate about imagination and the ways it can be used to create a more equitable world.
When not working on an acting project, you can find Andrew steeped in a new novel, crafting a new short story or blog, running a couple of miles, or building (well, trying to build) a new tiny habit. We’re only going to get where we are headed one step at a time, after all.
Andrew is also founder of The Not Ready Yet Club, a space for artists and creators to develop their practice of consistent creating and shipping. Find out more about The Not Ready Yet Club here.
Andrew is inspired by writers James Baldwin, Hanya Yanagahara, Jia Tolentino, John Steinbeck, Ocean Vuong, Alice Walker, Glennon Doyle, Brené Brown, and Ernest Hemingway. He is also really into Perks of Being a Wallflower, Big Little Lies and the Rose Family on Schitt’s Creek.
